The Motilal Memorial Society, founded by the late Chandra Bhanu Gupta,in 1935 under socities registration acts. Today The Motilala Memorial is working for social welfare and one of the trusted society. the then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on Pandit Motilal Nehru Marg,Charbagh,Lucknow.

The Objective of the society are:-

• The promoting and diffusion of useful knowledge,education, founding and maintenance of colleges, Libraries & Reading Rooms, Research Institutes;
• Opening and maintaining public Museums, gallaries of paintings and other works of art, collection of the objects of natural history, mechanical and philosophical invention, instruments and designs
• The encouragement and diffusion of education in all spheres including social, economic and adult education;
• Improvement of public health in general and specially by opening and maintaining dispensaries, health resorts and sports, stadia and by providing facilities for the Physical development of children.
• Organisation of rural reconstruction in particular through local projects including bhoodan , fostering of respect for manual labour.
• Encouraging cultural activities and maintaining institution to carry on such activities on no profit basis.
• Organising cultural, educational and other exhibitions on no profit basis.
• the raising of the intellectual, moral, economic and conditions of the people in general and of the weaker set of the society in particular, and
• to organise, open, control and manage institutions organisation for the furtherance of the aforesaid and charitable objects and with a view to the fulfilment of the ab objects.
